Ungvita Vitamin A Ointment is a trusted medicated ointment containing retinol palmitate (vitamin A) in a soothing, protective base. It helps relieve and repair dry, chafed, cracked, and irritated skin by supporting the skin's natural renewal process. Widely used for dry skin conditions, chafed skin, cracked heels, minor skin irritations, and as a barrier and healing cream for everyday skin care needs.
Ungvita is used for dry skin conditions including chafed skin, cracked heels, dry elbows, minor skin irritations, and areas exposed to wind, cold, or water. It is also used as a nappy rash cream and a general protective skin barrier ointment.
Vitamin A (retinol) supports skin cell turnover and regeneration. It helps the outer skin layer renew itself more effectively, improving the texture and integrity of dry, damaged, or rough skin over time.
Yes. Ungvita is commonly used as a nappy rash treatment and protective barrier cream for babies. It is gentle and suitable for sensitive infant skin. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin in the nappy area at each nappy change.
Ungvita can be applied to facial areas with dry or chafed skin, but it is an ointment-based product and may feel greasy on the face. For facial dry skin, a lighter vitamin A moisturiser may be more suitable. Avoid contact with eyes.
Apply to the affected area once or twice daily, or as needed. For cracked heels, apply generously before bed and wear socks overnight for enhanced absorption.
