Allcare Tubular Gauze Bandage is a seamless, lightweight tubular bandage used to hold wound dressings securely in place on fingers, toes, and limbs. It is commonly used in clinical and home wound care settings to protect dressings on difficult-to-bandage areas. The open-weave gauze fabric is breathable and comfortable, available in multiple sizes to suit different body areas. Each roll provides 20m of bandage material.
Size 00 (0.75cm) is suitable for small fingers and toes. Size 01 (1.8cm) is for standard adult fingers and toes. Size 12 (2.5cm) is for larger fingers, thumbs, and smaller limb areas. A tubular gauze applicator tool (sold separately) helps thread the bandage over the finger.
Yes, a tubular gauze applicator (finger applicator) makes application much easier, especially on fingers and toes. The applicator allows the gauze to be rolled onto the finger smoothly without bunching. These are available separately from Allcare.
Tubular gauze is an open-weave, lightweight version used primarily to hold dressings. Tubular bandage (elasticated) is a heavier elastic version used for compression and joint support. They serve different purposes — gauze for securing dressings, elastic for support.
No. Tubular gauze is not designed for compression. For compression purposes, use elasticated tubular bandage (Compband). Allcare stocks both types.
Yes. Tubular gauze is widely used in home wound care for securing dressings on fingers, toes, and other areas that are difficult to bandage with conventional rolled bandage.
