Tropeaka Organic Raw Cacao Powder is a certified organic, raw cacao produced using a low-temperature drying process that preserves the natural antioxidants, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds that are destroyed by conventional cocoa processing. Unlike regular cocoa powder (which is roasted), raw cacao retains up to 40x more antioxidants, higher magnesium, iron, and flavanol content — making it a genuine superfood for baking, smoothies, and hot drinks.
Cocoa powder is made by roasting cacao beans at high temperatures, which destroys much of the natural flavanols, antioxidants, and heat-sensitive nutrients. Raw cacao powder is cold-pressed from unroasted cacao beans, preserving its natural nutrient profile — including significantly higher levels of antioxidants, magnesium, and iron than conventional cocoa powder.
Raw cacao is one of the richest dietary sources of antioxidant flavanols, which support cardiovascular health, cognitive function, and protection against oxidative stress. Yes. It can be used 1:1 in place of cocoa powder in most recipes — cakes, brownies, muffins, hot chocolate, smoothies, bliss balls, and energy bites. The raw cacao has a more intense, slightly bitter chocolate flavour than processed cocoa, so you may need less sweetener.

Yes. Raw cacao naturally contains small amounts of caffeine and theobromine (a related stimulant). The amount is generally much lower than coffee but more than regular cocoa powder. If you are sensitive to caffeine, consume raw cacao earlier in the day.
