Swimmates Disposable Swim Diapers are designed to be worn discreetly under a regular bathing suit to provide containment for bowel incontinence during water activities. Ideal for aqua therapy, pool sessions, hydrotherapy, and recreational swimming, Swimmates allow people with bowel incontinence to participate in water activities with confidence and dignity. Latex-free, blue moisture-proof construction with a snug fit that resists water entry while containing waste.
Swimmates are designed for adults and youths with bowel incontinence who want to participate in swimming, aqua therapy, or hydrotherapy. They are used widely in rehabilitation, aged care, disability support, and paediatric contexts to enable safe water participation.
Swimmates provide containment for solid/formed waste during brief water immersion. They are not designed to contain liquid urine in water, and no swim diaper can guarantee zero leakage. They are primarily intended for bowel containment to comply with pool hygiene requirements.
No. Swimmates are single-use disposable swim diapers. After each swim session, dispose of the used Swimmate hygienically. Do not attempt to wash or reuse.
Sizes are based on hip/waist circumference: Small (56–91cm), Medium (86–122cm), Large (112–137cm), X-Large (122–168cm), XX-Large (157–203cm). If between sizes, size up for best containment and comfort.
Yes. Swimmates are specifically designed to comply with pool hygiene requirements for people with bowel incontinence. Many aqua therapy and hydrotherapy programmes require participants with incontinence to wear a waterproof containment garment — Swimmates fulfil this requirement.
