Sudafed PE Sinus Relief Day Plus Night Relief provides 24 hours of sinus and nasal congestion relief with a specially designed day/night formula. The daytime tablets contain phenylephrine to relieve nasal congestion without causing drowsiness, while the night-time tablets add an antihistamine to help you sleep through sinus pressure and congestion. Purchase limit of 1 applies.
The daytime tablets contain phenylephrine as a decongestant to relieve nasal and sinus congestion without causing drowsiness. The night-time tablets add an antihistamine (typically diphenhydramine or chlorphenamine) which helps dry up secretions and promotes sleep during sinus congestion.
Phenylephrine can raise blood pressure and is generally not recommended for people with hypertension, heart conditions, or those taking certain antidepressants (MAOIs). Consult your pharmacist or doctor before use if you have any cardiovascular conditions.
Follow the dosage instructions on the package. Typically, 1–2 daytime tablets every 4–6 hours during the day and 1–2 night-time tablets at bedtime. Do not exceed the maximum daily dose listed on the label.
Products containing pseudoephedrine or phenylephrine are subject to purchase limits in New Zealand as part of precautionary pharmacy regulations. Sudafed PE is limited to 1 pack per transaction.
Do not take alongside other decongestants, antihistamines, antidepressants (especially MAOIs), or products containing paracetamol/ibuprofen that may already contain a decongestant. Always consult your pharmacist if you are on regular medications.
