Robitussin Chesty Cough provides symptomatic relief from congested chests and coughs due to the common cold. It contains the expectorant Guaiphenesin, which increases the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract — helping break up a cough and loosen congestion.

Each 10mL of oral liquid contains Guaiphenesin 200mg. Also contains sodium benzoate, saccharin sodium, and ethanol (alcohol) 40mg/mL (4.8% v/v). Contains Sorbitol (65g/120mL), which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
Children 6 – under 12 years: 5mL–10mL every 4 hours orally when necessary, up to 6 doses in 24 hours.
Adults and children 12 years and over: 10mL–20mL every 4 hours orally when necessary, up to 6 doses in 24 hours.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Do not use in children under 6 years of age.
Is this suitable for children under 6?
No, this product should not be used in children under 6 years of age.
Does this cause drowsiness?
No, it's a non-drowsy formula.
Does it contain sugar?
No, it's sugar free, but does contain Sorbitol which may have a laxative effect.
How often can I take this?
Every 4 hours as necessary, up to a maximum of 6 doses in 24 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
