PONSTAN (mefenamic acid 250mg, 20 capsules) is indicated for primary dysmenorrhoea, menorrhagia, pain associated with IUCDs, and the relief of pain including arthritis, soft tissue and dental pain, and as an antipyretic.

Dose for menstrual pain: 2 capsules (500 mg) three times daily with meals, beginning at the onset of pain. For menorrhagia: 2 capsules (500 mg) three times daily with meals from the start of menstruation, continuing under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
