Mediven Plus Thigh High Compression Stockings are premium medical-grade graduated compression stockings with a silicone topband to keep them securely in place without rolling or slipping. Designed for managing chronic venous disorders, varicose veins, post-thrombotic syndrome, and thrombosis prevention, they are available in multiple sizes, compression classes (CCL1 and CCL2), and colours (beige and black) with open or closed toe options.
Mediven Plus is used for chronic venous disorders (C0–C5 on the CEAP classification), varicose veins, varicose veins in pregnancy, prevention and management of deep vein thrombosis (DVT), post-thrombotic syndrome, and supporting sclerotherapy treatment.
CCL1 (compression class 1) provides 18–21 mmHg of compression — suitable for mild-to-moderate venous insufficiency, tired and heavy legs, and DVT prevention during travel or prolonged sitting/standing. CCL2 (23–32 mmHg) is prescribed for more significant venous disorders. Most CCL2 stockings require a doctor's prescription or recommendation.
Measure ankle circumference, calf circumference, thigh circumference, and leg length from the floor to the gluteal fold. Measurements should be taken in the morning before swelling develops. Refer to the Mediven sizing chart for your correct size.
With proper care, Mediven stockings typically last 3–6 months of daily wear. Wash daily in cool water and dry flat — never tumble dry. Replace when they lose elasticity.
Graduated compression stockings are generally worn during waking hours only — from getting up until going to bed. Wearing them lying down may be contraindicated. Follow your doctor's specific instructions.
