Kolorex Foot & Toe Care Cream offers the natural Candida and antifungal support of the ancient NZ herb horopito in an effective topical cream specifically formulated for foot and toe conditions. It provides natural support for the management of athlete's foot (tinea pedis), toe fungal infections and general foot fungal concerns — using the clinically studied antifungal activity of horopito polygodial.
Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: Kolorex contains horopito-derived polygodial which has demonstrated antifungal activity against tinea-causing dermatophytes and Candida species in laboratory studies. Many users find it effective for mild to moderate athlete's foot. For severe or persistent tinea, conventional antifungal treatments (clotrimazole, terbinafine) have more extensive clinical evidence. Consult our pharmacist if symptoms are severe or do not improve.
A: Clean and thoroughly dry the affected foot and toe area before applying. Apply a thin layer of cream to the affected areas, including between the toes if affected. Apply twice daily as directed. Continue treatment for at least 2 weeks after symptoms resolve to prevent recurrence. Do not cover tightly with non-breathable dressings.
A: Topical creams generally have limited penetration through the nail plate for established nail fungal infections (onychomycosis). Kolorex Foot & Toe cream is most effective for skin-based fungal conditions like athlete's foot and toe web tinea. For toenail fungal infections, specific antifungal nail treatments or oral medication under medical supervision are typically needed. Ask our pharmacist for advice.
A: For active fungal infections, use consistently twice daily for at least 4 weeks — or as directed on the label. Continue for 1–2 weeks after apparent resolution to reduce the risk of recurrence. For maintenance prevention (e.g. in athletes prone to recurrent tinea), periodic application to high-risk areas may help reduce recurrence frequency.
