GO Healthy Ginkgo 9000+ provides 9000mg equivalent of Ginkgo biloba leaf extract per capsule — one of the most researched herbs for cognitive health, memory, concentration, and cerebrovascular circulation. Ginkgo's flavonoid and terpenoid compounds improve blood flow to the brain, provide antioxidant protection for neural tissue, and support memory, focus, and mental clarity. An excellent supplement for students, professionals, and older adults concerned about cognitive performance.
Ginkgo biloba is used primarily for cognitive support — improving memory, concentration, and mental clarity. It is also used for age-related cognitive decline, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), poor peripheral circulation, and vertigo. It has one of the largest evidence bases of any herbal supplement for brain and circulatory health.
Ginkgo's key mechanisms include improving cerebral blood flow (by dilating blood vessels and reducing blood viscosity), providing antioxidant protection to neural cells, and inhibiting platelet aggregation. Better blood flow to the brain means more oxygen and glucose delivery to neurons, supporting clearer thinking and memory function.
Most research shows meaningful improvements in cognitive function and circulation after 6–12 weeks of consistent daily use. Some people notice subtle improvements in clarity and focus within the first 2–4 weeks.
Ginkgo has been studied for tinnitus (ringing in the ears) related to poor cochlear blood flow, with some positive results. It is not effective for all types of tinnitus but is worth trialling for 3 months in cases where poor circulation may be a contributing factor.
Ginkgo has mild antiplatelet effects and may interact with blood-thinning medications (warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel). If you are on anticoagulants or antiplatelet therapy, consult your doctor before taking Ginkgo. It is generally well tolerated at standard doses in healthy adults.
