• Saw Palmetto – Native to the south-eastern US and West Indies, Saw Palmetto berries have been traditionally used as a complete genito-urinary tonic for men as well as for some health concerns in women.
• Nettle – Stinging nettle is a highly nutritive herb with a long history of use in supporting the body’s natural cytokine balance as well as healthy prostate function, including support for normal urinary flow.
• Green Tea – has some of the highest antioxidant activity of any plant known, thanks to its polyphenol compounds collectively known as catechins, including epigallocatechin (EGC), epicatechin (EC), epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and epicatecatechin gallate (ECG). Prostate tissue is particularly prone to oxidative damage and is also very receptive to the supporting properties of Green Tea’s antioxidant compounds.
• Pomegranate – is steeped in historic and cultural references for at least the last 4,000 years and used as a symbol of prosperity, hope, abundance and fertility across the ages. It is also very high in antioxidant compounds shown to support healthy prostate, cardiovascular, immune and digestive function.
• Pumpkin – the seed oil of pumpkins contain essential fatty acids, as well as the antioxidant nutrients zinc and vitamin E, which research has shown supports healthy prostate function.
• White Sage & Rosemary – are both members of the mint family, and both are loaded with antioxidant properties, particularly with regards with protecting oils from oxidation.
