We advise doubling the dose in the first 12 weeks to optimise your body's natural store of the omega-6 GLA. It takes time for GLA to be incorporated into cell membranes, including skin cells. It needs to be consumed regularly to maintain optimal levels as it isn't stored in your body like other fats. 

In our recent skin study, participants took the double dose (2000mg per day) for 12 weeks. 82% agreed their skin was beautifully smooth and nourished looking.
