Ingredients
Active Ingredients: Brompheniramine maleate 2 mg/5 mL, Phenylephrine hydrochloride 5 mg/5 mL.
Instructions
Children 6 years to under 12 years:
7.5 mL every 6-8 hours as necessary. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours.
Adults and Children 12 years and over:
- 10 mL every 6-8 hours as necessary. Maximum 4 doses in 24 hours.
- Do not use in children under 6 years old. Use in children aged 6 to 11 years only on the advice of a doctor, pharmacist or nurse practitioner.
- Dose may be taken with water or fruit juice. A measuring cup is included with this product for accurate dose measurement.
Warnings
Do not use this product
- In children under 6 years
- If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients
- If you are lactating or breast feeding
- With other antihistamines
- If tamper evident cap seal is broken or missing
Ask your doctor before use if you
- Are taking antidepressants
- Have high blood pressure
- Have heart problems
- Are pregnant or are trying to become pregnant
- Are taking another cough and cold medicine
- Are taking sedatives or tranquillisers, they may increase drowsiness
Caution
- Do not take for longer than a few days unless directed by a doctor. If symptoms persist for more than 48 hours or are accompanied by fever discontinue use and consult a doctor.
- This medicine may cause sleeplessness
- This medicine may cause drowsiness. If affected, do not drive a vehicle or operate machinery. Avoid alcohol.
Contains
Benzoates, Hydroxybenzoates, Saccharin, Sulfites, Sorbitol (16.8 g/40 mL). Products containing sorbitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
