Deafgard is a portable alert device designed for the hard of hearing, working alongside your existing fire alarm. A vibration pad placed under a pillow or mattress activates when the fire alarm sounds, while powerful flashing lights and an on-screen "FIRE" display provide additional warning.

Wire-free and portable, Deafgard also includes an alarm clock function and runs on 4 x C-size alkaline batteries, with an expected battery life of 12 months. Note: not suitable for use with voice alarms.
