Cranclense provides a convenient cranberry supplement in tablet form to support urinary tract health. Cranberry is one of the most widely used natural supplements for urinary health — its proanthocyanidin (PAC) compounds help prevent E. coli bacteria from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract, supporting the body's natural defence against recurrent urinary tract infections. 20 tablets per pack for a convenient short-course or starter supply.
Cranberry contains type A proanthocyanidins (PACs) — specific compounds not found in most other fruits. These PACs prevent E. coli bacteria (responsible for 80–90% of UTIs) from expressing the fimbriae (adhesive appendages) they need to stick to the bladder wall. Without adhesion, bacteria cannot establish infection and are flushed away with urination. Cranberry does not kill bacteria — it prevents them from holding on.
Cranberry is a preventive supplement, not a treatment for active UTIs. If you have symptoms of a UTI (burning urination, frequency, cloudy or bloody urine, pelvic pain), consult your pharmacist or GP. Active UTIs generally require antibiotic treatment. Cranberry supplementation can then be continued after treatment to reduce the risk of recurrence.
Follow the dosage instructions on the Cranclense label. Take as directed. For ongoing UTI prevention, consistent daily use provides the best protective effect.
Yes — cranberry, D-Mannose and Hiprex (methenamine hippurate) work through different mechanisms and can complement each other as part of a comprehensive urinary health plan. Always inform your pharmacist of all supplements you are taking, particularly if you take blood-thinning medications (cranberry may interact with warfarin).
Cranberry may enhance the effect of warfarin (blood thinner) — if you take warfarin, discuss cranberry supplementation with your doctor before use. No significant interactions are documented with most other common medications.
