Boston Rewetting Drops lubricate, rewet, and remove debris from rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses while wearing them. They enhance lens wettability, reduce friction, and restore comfortable, clear vision during wear — particularly helpful when lenses feel dry, uncomfortable, or vision has become hazy during the day. For use with RGP, hard, and gas-permeable contact lenses only.
For rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses only. Not for use with soft contact lenses.
Use Boston Rewetting Drops whenever your RGP lenses feel dry, uncomfortable, or your vision becomes hazy during wear. They are particularly useful in dry environments (air-conditioned offices, aircraft), during screen use, or late in the day when lenses naturally dry out.
Yes. Boston Rewetting Drops are specifically formulated for use with RGP contact lenses — they contain wetting agents that are compatible with the RGP lens material and help the lens resurface properly. Do not use regular lubricating eye drops with RGP lenses as they may cause lens deposits or incompatibility issues.
No. Boston Rewetting Drops are formulated specifically for rigid gas permeable lenses and should not be used with soft hydrogel or silicone hydrogel lenses. Use a rewetting drop specifically formulated for soft lenses instead.
Instil 1–2 drops per eye as needed. Tilt your head back, look up, and apply the drop to the eye while the lens is in place. Blink several times to distribute the drop across the lens surface.
Frequent need for rewetting drops can indicate that your lenses have protein deposits, surface deterioration, or are reaching the end of their service life. If rewetting drops no longer provide adequate relief, visit your optometrist for a lens assessment.
