Advance Booster Pads are designed to be used with other Advance absorbent products (pull-up pants, all-in-one briefs, or pads) to provide an additional layer of protection without adding bulk. The booster pad sits inside the primary product and significantly increases the combined absorbency — ideal for people who experience high-volume leakage, need extended protection overnight, or during long periods between product changes. Available in Regular (28 pieces), Super (30 pieces), and Super Plus (28 pieces).
A booster pad is placed inside an existing incontinence product — inside a pull-up pant, an all-in-one brief, or a rectangular pad. The booster provides an extra absorbent layer for additional capacity. When the booster is saturated, fluid passes through to the outer product — giving a double-layer absorption system that significantly increases the product's total capacity before it needs to be changed.
Regular is suitable for moderate leakage — providing extra protection during the day or for shorter periods between changes. Super is appropriate for heavier leakage or longer periods between changes. Super Plus provides the highest additional capacity — ideal for overnight use or extended wear. For guidance on which level suits your needs, consult your continence nurse or pharmacist.
Advance Booster Pads are designed for use with Advance products, but may also work with other brands' absorbent products depending on sizing and design. The booster pad should sit securely inside the outer product without bunching or shifting. Test with other products to confirm fit and performance.
For urinary incontinence, position the booster pad towards the front of the product for women and directly under the urethra for men. For bowel incontinence or combined incontinence, a more central positioning is appropriate. Your continence nurse can advise on optimal positioning for your specific situation.
Change the booster pad (and outer product if also saturated) when the booster is saturated or at least every 4–6 hours for skin health. Prolonged skin contact with saturated incontinence products causes skin irritation and breakdown. Regular changes and good perineal hygiene are essential for skin integrity — particularly in elderly or immobile individuals.
