USL Sport Lite E.A.B in 5cm width and white colour is the same high-quality hand-tearable elastic adhesive bandage as the black version, in white — a colour preferred by many clinics and sporting codes for visibility and a clean professional appearance. The 5cm width is the most widely used EAB size for ankle and general joint strapping applications.
Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: No — the colour difference is purely aesthetic. White and black USL Sport Lite EAB have the same elastic, adhesive and stretch properties. Choose based on preference, clinic appearance standards or sporting code colour requirements. Some codes specify white tape for visibility; others allow any colour.
A: Yes — white EAB is commonly used as the outer securing layer over flesh-coloured rigid tape. The colour contrast can actually be helpful in clinical settings to clearly distinguish the outer EAB layer from the underlying rigid tape structure. For player preference, matching flesh-coloured EAB over flesh rigid tape maintains a uniform appearance.
A: A single 5cm × 6.9m roll typically provides 4–6 ankle outer-layer applications when used as a finishing layer over rigid tape. For standalone elastic support wrapping, the roll will last 3–5 applications depending on the technique and coverage area.
A: USL Sport Lite EAB provides mild compression suitable for sports-related swelling management during activity. It is not a graduated compression bandage and is not appropriate for therapeutic oedema management (e.g. lymphoedema or venous disease). For therapeutic compression, purpose-made medical compression bandages are required. Ask our pharmacist for guidance.
