USL Sport Game Day Kinesiology Tape in red is a bold, high-energy colour choice popular across many NZ sporting codes where red features prominently in team colours. The same affordable economy K-tape formula with similar elastic and adhesive properties to premium brands — in a striking red that stands out on the field and court and makes a statement in competition.
Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: Red is one of the most widely used team colours in NZ sport — from provincial rugby and cricket to football, basketball and touch rugby. Red K-tape is a natural team colour choice for athletes in clubs with red in their colours, and is also widely used as a general bold colour choice by athletes who simply prefer the visual impact of red tape.
A: Red is associated with various health awareness campaigns including heart health awareness (Red for Heart) and AIDS awareness (Red Ribbon). Red K-tape is used by athletes and teams participating in awareness events for these causes. The bold visibility of red tape makes it particularly effective for awareness display purposes.
A: The red colour dye is identical, but the underlying tape formulation differs. Game Day uses an economy-grade formula while Premium uses higher-grade materials for superior adhesion and elastic performance. For casual training and club use, Game Day red performs well. For therapeutic applications and elite competition, Premium red is the preferred choice.
A: The dye used in K-tape is generally colourfast and does not bleed onto skin or clothing under normal conditions. However, if the tape becomes very wet (e.g. in heavy rain or during swimming) and is in contact with white or very light-coloured clothing, minor colour transfer can occasionally occur. Allow the tape to dry before contact with light clothing if this is a concern.
