USL Sport Premium Kinesiology Tape in blue combines the superior therapeutic performance of the premium range with a classic, widely popular colour choice in NZ sport. The highest grade cotton and acrylic adhesive deliver consistent elastic recoil, superior adhesion and multi-day wear — making blue Premium K-tape the choice of physiotherapists and elite athletes who want reliable clinical-grade performance in a vibrant team colour.
5cm × 5m roll. Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: All three are blue shades with identical therapeutic properties. Standard blue is a mid-tone blue — brighter than navy but less intense than electric blue. Navy is the darkest blue option; electric blue is the most vibrant. Choose based on the specific shade that best matches your team colours or personal preference — performance is identical across all colours.
A: Yes — USL Premium K-tape is an excellent choice for shoulder impingement and rotator cuff support taping techniques. The superior adhesion of the premium grade is particularly important for shoulder taping where the tape must withstand significant movement and friction from clothing. Apply to clean, dry skin and allow the adhesive to activate by rubbing the tape briskly after application.
A: USL Premium K-tape is water-resistant rather than fully waterproof. It can be worn in the shower and will withstand light swimming. For prolonged water immersion (e.g. lap swimming or water sports), adhesion will progressively reduce. Pat dry after water exposure rather than rubbing to maximise adhesion longevity.
A: Always remove K-tape slowly and gently, pressing the skin ahead of the tape as you peel rather than pulling away sharply. Peel in the direction of hair growth. Applying a few drops of baby oil or adhesive remover spray to the edge of the tape before removal significantly reduces discomfort and skin trauma. Never rip K-tape off quickly.
