USL Sport Game Day Edge E.A.B in 5cm white is a quality economy elastic adhesive bandage for standard ankle and joint strapping at a competitive club-level price. The 100% cotton construction provides reliable stretch and adhesion for general sports strapping applications, while the white colour offers a clean, professional appearance popular in clinical settings and where sporting code rules specify white tape.
Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: At 2.75m length, one roll provides approximately 2–4 ankle outer-layer applications or 3–5 small joint support applications. The shorter length makes this roll ideal for individual kit bags, travel first aid kits or situations where only a few applications are needed — for high-volume clinic use, the longer 6.9m Lite EAB rolls offer better economy.
A: Game Day Edge and Lite EAB are both club-level economy tapes with similar performance profiles. Game Day Edge uses 100% cotton fabric. Minor differences in adhesive formulation and fabric weight may affect individual preference for glide versus grip. Both perform adequately for standard strapping — the choice often comes down to price and personal preference.
A: The 2.75m length can serve as the outer securing layer over rigid tape for a single ankle strapping application. For a complete ankle strap using EAB alone (without rigid tape), a longer roll is recommended to ensure adequate coverage. The shorter Game Day Edge roll is best used as a complement to rigid tape rather than as the sole strapping material for complex applications.
A: White tape can show sweat stains more visibly than darker colours, particularly after extended play in hot conditions. For high-intensity sports in warm weather, some athletes prefer black EAB to avoid this. However, white EAB remains the standard choice in clinical settings and where a professional appearance is prioritised over sweat concealment.
