USL Sport Game Day Edge E.A.B in 2.5cm width and flesh colour is a quality club-level elastic adhesive bandage designed for finger, thumb and small joint strapping at a competitive price. The Game Day Edge range is 100% cotton, providing good conformability and hand-tearability for fast, practical application during games and training sessions.
Flesh coloured for discreet wear. Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: Both are elastic adhesive bandages at competitive price points, but they may differ in fabric weight and adhesive formulation. Game Day Edge is 100% cotton, while Lite EAB may use a synthetic fabric blend. Both are suitable for standard club sport strapping — the choice often comes down to personal preference and skin tolerance of the adhesive. Ask our pharmacy team to compare samples.
A: Tear a strip of 2.5cm EAB and wrap it around two adjacent fingers (the injured finger and the neighbouring stable finger), leaving the finger joints free to flex. Apply 2–3 strips to buddy strap securely. Do not wrap too tightly — check that circulation remains unimpaired. Remove if fingers become cold, numb or change colour.
A: Some sports codes have regulations about tape colour — particularly regarding whether referees need to be able to distinguish taped areas. Check your specific sport's rules. Most codes allow flesh-coloured or white tape for joint strapping. If in doubt, contact your sporting code's administrator or our pharmacist for advice.
A: EAB can be used to secure wound dressings in place, particularly on limbs. However, medical-grade hypoallergenic tapes are generally preferred for wound care use, especially on fragile or sensitive skin. For first aid use, EAB is a practical option. For ongoing wound management, consult a pharmacist or wound care professional for the most appropriate fixation method.
