USL Sport Game Day Rigid Strapping Tape in the standard 38mm width is a quality club-level flesh zinc oxide tape designed for ankle, knee and general joint strapping. The single roll format is ideal for individual athletes, first aid kits and smaller clubs that need quality rigid tape without committing to a bulk purchase.
Flesh coloured for discreet wear under sports clothing and socks. Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: One 13.7m roll of 38mm rigid tape typically provides 2–3 complete preventive ankle strapping applications depending on the technique used and the number of layers applied. Therapeutic post-injury strapping uses more tape than preventive strapping due to the additional support required.
A: Applying a foam pre-wrap under rigid tape protects the skin from adhesive irritation and makes removal more comfortable. Pre-wrap is strongly recommended for people with sensitive skin, those strapping the same area repeatedly, or whenever tape will be worn for extended periods. Pre-wrap is available separately from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: USL Sport Game Day Rigid Tape is a quality club-level tape that performs well for standard strapping applications. Premium brands may offer slightly superior adhesion and rigidity for elite-level applications. For most school, club and recreational sport strapping, Game Day Rigid provides reliable performance at a significantly lower price point.
A: Apply pre-wrap over the area before rigid tape. Ensure the skin is clean, dry and free of moisturiser. Apply tape without excessive tension — it should be firm but not tight enough to restrict circulation. Check circulation after taping. Remove tape promptly after activity and inspect the skin. If blisters or skin breakdown occurs, consult your pharmacist about skin protection and tape application technique.
