MoliCare Skin Impregnated Wash Gloves offer a quick, gentle and hygienic solution for bed bathing and incontinence care without the need for water. Pre-moistened with a nourishing formula containing panthenol (Vitamin B5) and aloe vera, these gloves cleanse, moisturise and soothe skin in one simple step.
The gloves can be warmed in the microwave for added comfort — particularly appreciated by elderly patients who may feel the cold. Alcohol-free, dermatologically tested and skin-balanced pH. Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: Remove the glove from the packet and place your hand inside. Warm in the microwave if desired (follow packet instructions for time and power). Wipe the skin gently in the areas requiring cleansing. No rinsing is required — pat the skin dry after use. Use one glove per body area to maintain hygiene standards. Dispose of after use — do not reuse.
A: MoliCare Skin Impregnated Wash Gloves are typically sold individually or in packs — check the product label for current pack size. They are suitable for single-patient use and should not be shared between individuals.
A: MoliCare Skin Impregnated Wash Gloves are designed for body cleansing. For facial cleansing, use a dedicated facial wipe or cloth to avoid potential skin reactions from the body wash formula around the eyes and mouth.
A: Yes — the gloves are designed for gentle use on fragile and sensitive skin. The no-rinse formula and soft glove material minimise friction and trauma during cleansing. For skin with active pressure injuries or open wounds, follow your healthcare provider's wound care protocol and avoid direct contact with wounds.
