Epiology Advanced Anti-Acne Cream is a clinically proven topical treatment that combines niacinamide (vitamin B3) and zinc to prevent and treat acne. It works to reduce sebum production, minimise pore size, calm inflammation, and fade post-acne marks — addressing both active breakouts and their aftermath. Suitable for daily use as a lightweight, non-greasy treatment layer.
Epiology contains niacinamide (vitamin B3) and zinc, which regulate sebum (oil) production, reduce inflammation, and inhibit the bacteria that cause acne. Niacinamide also fades post-acne pigmentation (red or brown marks) over time.
Apply a thin layer to clean, dry skin over acne-prone areas. It can be used as a standalone treatment or under moisturiser and makeup. For active spots, apply directly to the blemish. Use morning and evening for best results.
Many people notice reduced redness and new breakouts within 2–4 weeks. Fading of existing acne marks typically takes 6–8 weeks. Consistency is key — daily use over 3 months shows the most significant improvement.
Niacinamide (in Epiology) is generally compatible with most other acne treatments including benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, and retinoids. However, very high concentrations of vitamin C (ascorbic acid) used simultaneously may interact with niacinamide — stagger application times if using both.
Yes. Niacinamide is one of the most well-tolerated active skincare ingredients and is suitable for sensitive and reactive skin. Epiology is a gentler acne treatment compared to harsh actives like benzoyl peroxide.
