Clinicians Bone Care Kids provides natural calcium sourced from mineralised red seaweed (aquamin), along with vitamin D3, magnesium, vitamin K2, and zinc — the full suite of cofactors required for healthy bone development in growing children. Unlike chalk-based calcium supplements, seaweed-derived calcium is a multi-mineral, naturally occurring source that is better tolerated and more bioavailable.
Seaweed-derived calcium (aquamin) is a naturally occurring multi-mineral source that contains calcium alongside magnesium and 70+ trace minerals in their natural ratios. This is closer to the way minerals are found in food and may be better absorbed and tolerated than synthetic calcium carbonate.
Clinicians Bone Care Kids is generally suitable for children from age 4 upwards. Check the product label for specific age guidance and dosing. Always consult your healthcare provider for children under 4.
Vitamin K2 (MK-7) directs calcium into bones rather than soft tissues. Without sufficient K2, supplemental calcium may not reach the bones effectively. Including K2 in a children's bone formula ensures calcium is used where it is needed most.
Many children can meet calcium needs through dairy, leafy greens, and fortified foods. However, picky eaters, dairy-free children, or those with high activity levels may benefit from supplemental calcium. Ask your GP or dietitian if supplementation is appropriate.
Chew the tablet thoroughly before swallowing. Take with or without food. For younger children, the tablet can be crushed and mixed with food or a drink if preferred. Follow label dosing instructions.
