BioTrace CMD Concentrated Mineral Drops provides a comprehensive source of ionic trace minerals and electrolytes in a highly concentrated liquid form. The human body requires minerals and trace elements to support hundreds of biological functions — from energy production and nerve conduction to immune function and cellular repair. CMD is derived from concentrated sea water and provides magnesium, potassium, boron, and 70+ trace minerals in a bioavailable ionic form.
CMD is used to supplement trace minerals that may be depleted from modern diets and soils. It supports energy metabolism, nerve and muscle function, electrolyte balance, immune health, and overall cellular function. Many people use it daily by adding drops to water or juice.
Add the recommended number of drops (as per label instructions) to water, juice, or food. Start with a lower dose and increase gradually if needed. The concentrate has a bitter, briny taste — diluting in juice or flavoured water makes it more palatable.
No. CMD contains magnesium alongside 70+ other trace minerals. It provides a much broader mineral spectrum than a single magnesium supplement. If you specifically need magnesium, a dedicated magnesium supplement provides a more targeted dose.
At recommended doses, CMD is generally well tolerated. Excessive intake may cause loose stools due to the magnesium content. Always follow the label dosage. Consult a healthcare provider if you have kidney disease, as trace minerals are processed by the kidneys.
Check the product label for specific age guidance. Mineral drops can be suitable for children at lower doses, but consult your healthcare provider before supplementing children with concentrated mineral products.
