USL Sport Rehab Wax is a well-established professional massage wax trusted by physiotherapists, sports therapists and athletes across New Zealand. The wax texture provides excellent glide for deep tissue and sports massage while maintaining control and grip — ideal for therapeutic massage, myofascial release, sports recovery and rehabilitation treatments.
The 450g tub provides a generous professional supply suitable for clinic and home use. Available from Pakuranga Pharmacy.
A: Massage wax provides a thicker medium than oil, giving the therapist more control and grip during treatment. It does not run or drip like oil, making it cleaner to work with, and it absorbs more slowly — allowing prolonged massage without repeated application. Wax is particularly preferred for sports and deep tissue techniques where sustained pressure and grip are important.
A: Yes — USL Sport Rehab Wax can be used for self-massage at home on sore muscles and joints after exercise. Apply a small amount to the skin and massage into the affected area using firm circular strokes. The wax provides enough glide for effective self-massage without being overly slippery.
A: USL Sport Rehab Wax is primarily a massage medium rather than a medicated product. It does not contain active analgesic or anti-inflammatory ingredients. Its benefit comes from the therapeutic effects of the massage technique itself — improved circulation, muscle relaxation and myofascial release. For additional pain relief, use alongside topical analgesic products after massage.
A: Wipe excess wax from the skin with a warm, damp cloth or towel after massage. The wax cleans up easily from hands and surfaces with warm soapy water. For linens or uniforms, pre-treat wax spots with a degreasing agent before laundering in warm water.
